BlogWorld Expo 2009

This year BlogWorld Expo has answered the call. They have added a Travel Track to what is already the biggest conference for Bloggers in the US. The Travel Industry and Bloggers will have a chance to connect and answer all the burning questions, including how to monetize a travel blog, how to gain sponsorship, and how to protect your brand.

The addition of travel to Blogworld Expo is just what the blogging community has been asking for. Speakers will be announced soon, as well as the host hotel, which is offering specials for travel bloggers.

Travel panels will take place on Oct. 16 with four sessions regarding travel blogging (and how it has changed), Travel marketing (how both sides can work together and how to approach marketing companies), a session on how to be a hero to your readers, and a lightning round led by one of the top PR reps in the US.

This sadly overlaps with the SATW (Society of American Travel Writers) conference in Mexico.
