Kind Regards,

Permalink Reply by Wilson on August 14, 2011 at 8:46am Visa requirements depend on which passport you are traveling on. So you first need to determine which countries you need a visa for. Generally visas that have to be applied for before hand at an embassy are only valid for 3 months, that is you have to use them within 3 months, which is challenging if you are going to be on the road a long time. Some visas can be obtained at the border. We have been traveling on and off for several years and have just entered Peru our 80th country. We have a lot of information on our blog with regards to visas and long term travel. Take lots of passport photos with you so you can apply for visas on route.
Have fun planning and safe travels
