Hostgator always gets raves and tend to be the cheapest, but their servers may not be the best performing due to the mass number of users they have.

I've heard good things about Kahunahost.com as well.  You could also consider a specialized Wordpress host like Page.ly as well who have a more restrictive environment but take a proactive role in keeping your plugins and wordpress installations up to date.  Good luck!

Thanks for the advice we will look into those. I did not know about specialized wordpress hosts so I will research that as well. Thanks for the help,

seems silly to post this since I thought everyone uses it but BlueHost is the best.  I run all of my sites from their dedicated cPanel interface.  Very reliable and excellent customer service.  Their chat feature is great when you are unable to make a phone call abroad.

I've had terrible experiences with Bluehost.  I've managed 5 different Bluehost accounts and could tell you horror stories.

I've read a couple of horror stories about Blue Host, too. So far, HostGator seems to be the most reliable choice.
