What is your Travel Resolution for 2011???

My travel resolution is to travel closer to home.  There are so many amazing sights close to where we already live, but all too often we don't around to seeing them since they are so close and it doesn't feel like "travel."  In my book, it's still travel, just without the jet lag!

That would be something I should follow as well. Indonesia is vast, and I barely covers 10% of it in my 30 years of life

We are putting Turkey high on our list for this year.

 

So far we have been covering Asia: Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, China, Thailand. So, as we run out of options, we think 2 weeks trip to Turkey would be perfect!

 

Locally, maybe to join a cooking class in Bali?

Hi Chris,

We are thinking of Istanbul and Cappadocia at the moment. We will mostly have 2 weeks or less for the trip,and think that another 1-2 city would be good.

 

Any suggestion?

Hi,

Great question. Obsessed traveler here.

Planned trips: Madeira, Capri, Nice, Paris, British Columbia (three weeks in July-August)

 

After the trip to Canada, my parents are thinking about taking me on a cruise with them to Hawaii. I want this to happen. I want this to happen. I want this to happen.

 

I also have the chance to go to Tibet in May. Lots and lots of problems have to be solved before this can happen. Any praying people out there?

I like to put my foot down and call my 'travel resolutions' travel plans - that way I don't just aspire to go to the desired place, I actually go to them ;)

 

Spain in Feb, Tunisia (hopefully when stability returns) in April. TBEX in Vancouver in June, followed by grand scheme of hitchhiking from West to East Coast of Canada!
