Who is going to TBEX'12 ?

Hey guys and gals,

Just want to see who is going to TBEX'12 this year at Keystone!

I just figured out my schedule, so looks like I am going this year ^^ See you guys there.

I bought my ticket so I should be there in theory. I just have to figure out a way to get there.

It is on my schedule... Just need to get my lodging setup. Should be fun. Looking for another nearby destination or venue to cover and help justify the trip. Any ideas?

Some possible destinations include Breckenridge, Vail, Vail Pass, Leadville, Glenwood Springs (great choice), or Aspen. I'd be glad to share specifics if you'd like more information about nearby destinations/venues.

For lodging, when you call them, make sure you tell them the price of the room you want (either the $79 Studio or the $99 hotel room). When I called and said studio only, the lady gave me a higher price rate until I pointed out I want specifically the $79 dollar one XD.

Also, the lady on the phone told me the $79 dollar studios require a 20minute walk to the conference building/center. They do have shuttle buses that will go between the studio complex and the conference center, but it's something to think about. =)

$79 is a pretty good room rate for the Keystone area. Where can I find info for those rooms?

I registered some time ago, but only booked the flight the other day (flying in from Denmark).

I was bit reluctant due to all the negative feedback on the organisation from last year. Hopefully it will be better this year. If nothing else, I will get to re-visit Denver and Colorado so the trip will, regardless of conference, be a success and an investment in content and experiences to share on my site.

This is my first time and I do have concerns about the conference too. Which is why I want to see who's going and say hi to each other here first as an ice breaker activity. Plus now everyone in this group can look for each other during the Friday's opening party thing !! =)

Glad that you're coming Annie. Any questions that you, or anyone else attending TBEX '12, has on Colorado, I'd be happy to try to answer or lead you in the right direction! Remember the nights are cool and the weather can change in a heartbeat from hot and sunny to cold and rainy, maybe even snowy.
