Why not tell prospective writers what you're willing to pay? You might get more inquiries.

Thanks, not sure what would be normal for about 4-5 paragraphs, what do you think would be a fair value?

Unfortunately when you get into the issue of payment, there are a lot of factors that go into play.  Promotional opportunities, regularity of work, and style of writing you are wanting to promote the deal influence this.  What sort of lead time are you going to require for writing the summary?  I know the shorter the deadline drives up the rates (especially since many of us travel and can be out of communication for long periods of time).  This sounds real interesting to me, and something I could definitely see doing depending on the details of what you want.
