First trip. What do you recommend?

A fabulous trip. Several days wandering through Sydney. We kept telling ourselves we should go to the fancy restaurants, but spent every night at a local pub. Up to Brisbane for the F-111 farewell, which was a classy send-off. Stayed with friends in Brisbane and went to the Australian Zoo, Granite Belt wine district. Borrowed a friend's airplane and flew up to Airlie Beach for several days. Final night at Summit Restaurant above Brisbane, and the clouds cleared enough so I could *finally* see the Southern Cross. Got out just before the monsoons hit! And it was snowing when we arrived back home!!

Hey, that sounds like a great start!  But LOTS more to see and do - that's just the tip of the iceberg!!  Lucky you missed the rain - it's been pelting down all over the country ever since!!

 

But it's good that there's plenty more amazing experiences still waiting for your next trip!!
