Why a Baby Boomer Group? Our needs and interest may overlap with those of seniors and youths....but not entirely. I've traveled to 48 countries - most of these since reaching the age of 46 - and have found that neither the Golden Agers nor the Gap Year youths travel the way I do.
During our travels, the question most often asked of my husband and I was: "How do you do it?" Many told us they wouldn't even know where to start thinking about it, how to research and plan for extensive travel. We've traveled to many of the usual places such as France, England and Australia but have also been to some out of the way countries such as Bostwana, Tibet and Antarctica.
I would be interested in hearing from bloggers who have insights on Baby Boomer travel -- even if you aren't a B.B. yourself. Maybe you've witnessed some of the issues they deal with and have suggestions on how they can do better.
The topic is pretty open as far as type of travel, destinations, motivations, budget and how tos.
Hope to hear from you soon!
