While I know that some boomers still enjoy wild carnival rides, I didn't even like them when I was a kid. However, anyone of any age can enjoy the amazing light show that a wild carnival ride provides at night. Sometimes it is all about the destination.  Here's my latest post on a few offbeat places to stay where the "room" itself is really what it's all about. What would you add to this list?

The email exchange between writers Dorothee Lang and Smitha Murphy Worlds Apart, a remarkable epistolary book about China, India and the lessons travel has taught these two beautiful people. I can't rave enough. about this one.

I think I just squeak in as a boomer! Right now, I'm blogging about a European trip with my husband and our teen.
