Comment by Kay Dougherty on November 2, 2012 at 7:00pm My sister and I are both baby boomers and this past summer I started our blog http://blondebrunettetravel.com and tweet under BlBrTravel. Our blog is mostly funny stories about dumb situations we've got ourselves into but I tweet different stuff and have others' content on our Facebook page. I'm still figuring this out but love to show that boomers are active and fun and not all lumbering on and off cruise ships!
Comment by Leyla Giray on November 2, 2012 at 5:28pm I'm excited, relieved, nervous... I've just published my first e-book, called Women on the Road: the essential guide to baby boomer travel. It inspires women to get out and see the world at any age, even if they don't have a travel partner.
It's not all Red Rock, Red Dust and Red sand downunder in OZ! Chill out and take a tour of 5 of Australia's COOLEST BLUE Top Spots!
Comment by Leyla Giray on October 24, 2012 at 12:27pm It's one of those weeks, super busy in the lead-up to my e-book launch. I haven't written this many posts in months! Just published today that might be of interest: Baby Boomer Travel - the good and the bad, over at Indie Travel Podcast. http://indietravelpodcast.com/travel/baby-boomer-travel-good-bad-solo/

The best photos I never took - and WHY! And some photos I DID take at Ormiston Gorge, Central Australia!
Enjoy and have a great weekend!!
'J' for Jabiru is the latest in my Aussie ABC series! What's a Jabiru? Why is it a dodgy choice for 'J'?? AND ... what do the letters A-I stand for??? All this - and more - when you head downunder to Amazing Australian Adventures!
