Is this group still active??
Hey gang, I posted this note on our Facebook page, but just in case you missed it...
Hey gang, we have an opportunity to spend the night at a hotel around Central Florida for a meet-up. Here's the catch, it would have to be a mid-week stay. What are the odds that any of you could manage a mid-week trip? The radius of these hotel properties would be about a 2-hours drive from Orlando on either coast. There are several options.
Don't forget the CFTBEX meet-up is on Saturday, February 18 at the Central Florida Zoo near Sanford. Everyone who attends is asked to be there at 9:00 a.m. sharp (Wayne M. Densch Discovery Center), as there will be a drawing for all participating bloggers to win one of two ZOOm Air Adventure passes (http://www.centralfloridazoo.org/zoomairadventurepark). In addition to all-day admission, there will be a short briefing by Shonna Green, the Zoo's PR and Marketing Director. At 11:00 a.m. Cooney World Adventures Day begins with a talk about our around the world trek with our three teenage sons. In addition, two adventure travel companies will give presentations about some of the amazing treks they offer all over the planet. Cheryl MacDonald and Lisa Chavis, two fellow travel bloggers, will also give a presentation about volunteering while traveling the world. If you plan to attend, please let me know. If you've already told me you'll attend, there's no need to again. http://www.centralfloridazoo.org/
Hey everyone, Mike & Catrell are planning our next meet-up at the Central Florida Zoo on February 18th. Please see our Facebook Group Page for the details.
I just posted them.
Comment by Greg Nunn on January 11, 2012 at 8:54am The end of the month is the Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival in Titusville, it is the largest Birding and Wildlife festival in North America. Nature and outdoor blogers should be able to get some good content for their blogs. There is a vendor area (stop by and see us) as well as lectures, classes, kayak tours, and wildlife tours.
Hope everyone is doing well in the new year.
Greg
If you are ever in the Yucatan, I highly recommend staying a few days in Mérida.
