I’m happy (and relieved) to report that our family travel website/blog is finally live! Attending TBEX’10 was the kick in the pants I needed to get it online! “Go BIG or Go Home” chronicles what happens when a small-town family visits the “world’s largest”…whatever! I’ve been dragging my unfortunate children to more quirky roadside attractions across the country than is probably healthy. I invite you to take a look and let me know what you think: http://GoBIGorGoHomeblog.com. Oh, and if you’re also going to TBEX’10 for the first time, like me, let me know! I would love to meet you!

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm the author of 101 Places You Gotta See Before You're 12! and several other books for kids. I just started a blog for parents called the Wanderlists, based on the books. It's at http://thewanderlists.com. Please stop by! I am looking forward to meeting folks here!

We are launching a huge 3 week event on cruising with kids. From May 2nd through May 22nd, during our Cruise Views Marathon, we’ll be focusing on family cruising (with kids). During this event, we’ll be posting interviews, live onboard happenings, insider tips and more. Readers will have the opportunity to follow our trials and tribulations in addition to the excitement onboard as we sail on the Carnival Sensation, Disney Wonder and Norwegian Jewel in our quest for the most family friendly cruise (we’ll be crowning a winner at the end of this event).

Make sure that you check our Events page throughout the event so that you can keep up with any updates and instructions on how to fully participate. You will have the opportunity to leave comments, ask questions and win cool stuff! You can also follow us on Twitter @thelollipoproad.

Pass it along...did I mention that there are free giveaways! If you are a fellow blogger or writer and would like to help us promote this event or have questions, send me an e-mail.

Contrary to popular belief, the Best Family Holidays I experienced happened in Big cities -
New York, and especially Tokyo .
Here's a great page about Things To Do in Tokyo with Kids.

“Family vacation” is an oxymoron. It should be called “keeping the kids happy, entertained, fed, and rested with minimal meltdowns in a remote location.” Woodloch Pines Resort to the rescue! I've posted a guest blog about my family's experiences there: http://www.escapemaker.com/news/&ref=1

As a family member usually tasked with locating and searching for vacation spots, I am excited to see this resource. As an owner of family destination spot, can't wait to learn more how we can serve our guests!

Hi! New blog here - creekmoreworld.com. We do exotic family travel, all firsthand and 'live' as we travel. (Middle East trip last summer for example. )

We would love to hear form others doing the same. We just came back from a two week trip in the Yucatan. Italy (not so exotic, we know) and China/SE asia are in the planning.

We are a family travelling the world with our two year old daughter. Follow our videos and our lives at Unstoppable Family .

We are one year in to our two year trip around the world and have been to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Hawaii, Mexico, Bali, Australia...our daughter is seeing things most children only read about in a text book!

If you're interested in exchanging links or find out more contact us!
