I'm currently living in Rome, Italy. I've been here for four months, and I leave in 2 weeks! It's incredible how quickly my semester has gone.

It's very bittersweet, because although I'm excited to see my family, friends and boyfriend... leaving Rome will be one of the hardest things I've ever done. Rome has become my home, and I hope to return to it someday!

I did my Master's in Trento, Italy. I joined one of these Erasmus Mundus programs created by the EC.

I studied abroad in Shanghai during my last semester of college. It was one of the best experiences I had in college. Although I did get homesick at times and could never really get into the food, I loved my experience and made a ton of friends that I still keep in contact with!

I studied for a year in Bordeaux, France in my jr. year in college.  Bordeaux was just so-so (a port town), but during that year I traveled to every country in Europe (except Austria), including Greece.  Wouldn't trade it for the world.

I spent a summer in language school in Nice, France and a summer in Belgrade, Serbia. Overall, I enjoyed my Serbian experience more, Nice was a little uptight and pretentious but Serbia was an exciting adventure with a different country to visit every other week...

Sometimes study abroad was the jumpstart to amazing careers, adventures, romances, and more! On my blog, http://www.insidestudyabroad.com, I discuss all the good, bad, ugly, and interesting sides of the study abroad experience. I'm starting a "where are they now" series and would love to do a Skype video interview with a few travel bloggers who studied abroad to mix things up a bit. Let me know if you're interested in discussing your personal study abroad story - of course I'll tell everyone about your blog too. :) Email me at brooke@insidestudyabroad.com.

Cheers, Brooke

I spent at year at uni in Montpellier, France which was a fantastic experience. I fell in love with the lifestyle, climate and have been back a couple of times since. If anyone has any questions about studying in that part of the world, feel free to ask!

The French uni system was quite different to the UK, especially the grading system.

My study abroad experience happened when I went back to school to finish my bachelor's. I was 29 and the oldest student in the pack. It was an arts and culture program in Ghana through the School for International Training. We traveled all over the country staying with families and at guesthouses Challenging at times, but life-changing.
