I have been trying to find some free podcasts to help me continue to learn Spanish since I hit the highest level on the Pimsleur Method CDs that my library carries.
One of my favourite sites / podcasts for Spanish is Voces en español. But you may want to go straight onto actual natural language rather than more learning podcasts and listening to online radio for example (most of which would have their own podcasts) if you have completed a whole course. I'd recommend focussing on Latin American Spanish; Central American Spanish can be very easy to understand for most countries when starting off, especially when compared with how fast and informally they talk in Spain.
I've recently started a new language learning blog and I'll be discussing distance-learning techniques as well as general study methods, and I'll be occasionally mentioning Spanish-specific tips too; fluentin3months.com.
I don't know if it will help much, but I have an audio interview in Spanish online with the English translation of the whole text, as well as the full Spanish transcription for comparison.
Thanks for the suggestions! I have heard of Voces en espanol, I will have to check them out. I agree, I think I just need to be immersed and start listening to it on a regular basis.
I have a friend that told me watching soap operas in Spanish is also a great way to start becoming integrated.
Thanks for the links to your site, I will definitely check it out!
