Hey guys, just thought about warming things around here.
The subject already says it all. Although I'm Brazilian, I don't know when I'll be coming to Latin America. I've been feeling like visiting Buenos Aires (I lived there for six months), as well as Cuba and Costa Rica.
In Brazil, specifically, I'd like to go to Sao Paulo (hometown) and some faraway place like Lencois Maranhenses or Chapada dos Guimaraes.
What about you, where is your next destination in Latin America?
Hi Diogo,
Thanks for lighting the fire! I just got back from Colombia, which was spectacular. The scenery was amazing, the people so warm and fun. The difference along the coast vs inland was incredible too.
I am back in North America at the moment, but planning on returning to BA as well (I also lived there for 6 months) if not for my Spanish skills than for the lovely summertime. I am also working on selling some stories in Brazil, so may have the chance to visit your wonderful country. I have always wanted to go! May head to Manaus, which is definitely not Rio or SP.
Others?
Jill
This year, i've been to Puerto Rico and Nicaragua. Both were great. I hear soooo many good things about Colombia, that I can't wait to go--hopefully later this year.
Next week: Dominican Republic.. Anyone been there?
Monica, I just got back from Colombia, it was fabulous! The people are great and there is so much to see - mountains, beach, you name it. Be sure to check out the coffee growing region, so relaxed and beautiful!
