Backpacking with a Laptop

Hey everyone. Ill be travelling through Costa Rica, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, and Brazil starting May 2 and hope to do video and written blogs the whole way. Anyone have experience of backpacking with a computer (I have a netbook). Do you suggest this or no?
