Comment by Darryl Musick on April 13, 2012 at 9:11am At The World on Wheels, we take hundreds of pictures when we're traveling but not all of them illustrate the story we're trying to tell. They still have their own stories but we just can't use them all. Today, we're showing a selection of these "outtakes" from our recent Mariposa and Hornitos trips. Come on by for our latest photo essay, Outtakes from the Gold Rush: http://tinyurl.com/coqf7y5

Comment by Ellen Billard on April 12, 2012 at 8:31pm Hi, friends! Hope you're all doing well. This week we're writing about our time in Arequipa, Peru ... probably one of the lesser-visited places in Peru, but amazing just like the rest of the country. Appreciate any comments, stumbles, shares on our latest post ...
Why you won't want to miss the Monasterio de Santa Catalina
Thanks again!
Comment by Catherine Sweeney on April 12, 2012 at 4:42pm Fisherman's Wharf may be filled with tourists and tacky souvenir shops, but there's at least one good reason to go there. New post for Travel Photo Thursday : Cruising San Francisco Bay / Traveling with Sweeney

Comment by Michael Figueiredo on April 12, 2012 at 12:31pm Tune in to Travel Channel this Sunday to see a new show I worked on called "Travel Unraveled" :)
Comment by inka piegsa-quischotte on April 12, 2012 at 7:30am This is a one off announcement. My new blog The Short Story Cafe has finally opened its doors. It's only vaguely related to travel because of the settings of the stories, bit it's fiction, short stories. Take a look at the first one:Cleopatra's Misfortune. I've only posted it here because I want to invite those of you who write fiction (Robin, Christopher, do you hear me?) to add their stories if you like.
Comment by inka piegsa-quischotte on April 12, 2012 at 1:13am My new' baby', The Museum Blog has a new cover photo and a picture gallery. It's such fun building it up. Tweets and stumbles would be so much appreciated.
