Have you go to Cherry Blossom Festival before? No need to rush to buy an airplane ticket to Japan just yet! San Francisco, Washington DC, and NYC all have their very own cherry blossom Festival! Here is my post: Celebration of the Blossom in SF

With Titanic's 100 year anniversary having just passed, I thought I'd take A Look at Halifax: The City That Took in Titanic's Dead. It's well known that 1,514 people died in the disaster and only 700 survived. But of the 1,514 dead, only 209 bodies were recovered. Halifax became the final resting place for many of them. But that was not the worst tragedy the city would see. That would come in 1917 with the Halifax Explosion.

On Friday, Baseball's oldest stadium turns 100 years old! On this week's Fields of Dreams at The World on Wheels, we turn the spotlight on this century old jewel. It's Boston's Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox: http://tinyurl.com/2fcqzau

I'm curious to hear whether I'm the only one who feels this way.

Why I won't visit museums that don't allow photography

It's not often I can be accused of championing a worthy cause but here's one to get me started - a unique animal shelter in southern Spain. Your comments and shares will help spread the word :)
