On this week's Fields of Dreams at The World on Wheels, there've been quite a few changes at the 70+ year old Sam Lynn Ballpark since last year: http://tinyurl.com/2f6oav4

Today at The World on Wheels...a budget weekend getaway checklist. Great, endless array of food? Check. Year round sports? Check. Fabulous museums? Check. Beautiful, wild river (suitable for rafting)? Check. World class music scene and nightlife? Check. Great, natural scenery? Check. Great hotel rooms for a song? Check. Inexpensive? Check. Two hour drive from L.A.? Check. It's our favorite underrated destination, Bakersfield: http://tinyurl.com/2aeqmrr

To paraphrase Mark Twain, the coldest winter I ever experienced was the spring I was in Chicago. It's the exciting conclusion to our trip to the Windy City...baseball, snow, museums, and more at The World on Wheels! http://tinyurl.com/yk22j5m

Hey Darryl!  I'm a Northsider, and grew up in Wrigley Field.  You definitely need to come back for a summer night game.  The area is hopping, and the crowd is fun.  There is a definite magic in the air, especially when they win!  Of course, prices are a bit higher for those games, but it's a blast!

Last week's Fields of Dreams report celebrated the century anniversary of baseball's oldest park. Today, it's a younger stadium...only 98. On The World on Wheels, we update the Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field with...count 'em...five pricing tiers AND dynamic pricing. You'd have thunk they were the world champions or something: http://tinyurl.com/247fu9u

Hi Darryl!  I live in Chicago!  Please feel free to reach out to me.  Maybe we could meet for dinner or lunch.

At The World on Wheels, we're spending the week in Chicago. Come along and see what we find in the Windy City in this classic trip: http://tinyurl.com/ygs5r2o

We have another new report at The World on Wheels today, a photo essay of one of the most beautiful spots on earth, Yosemite National Park: http://tinyurl.com/7a6cyz4

Thanks, Darryl!  We will be sure to include that advice when we launch the accessibility guide!
