Traveling Couples

Are there any other traveling couples out there? Can you comment on the ups and downs, tips etc? My partner and I spend a tremendous amount of time together - I wonder how the 24/7 nature of long term travel will be when we leave on our RTW in June.

Here's our latest post for your perusal!

Not knowing the language should never be a barrier for anyone to visit a place. We visited Leh, not knowing a word of Ladakhi but learnt from the locals that all we needed to know was the word "Juleh" (pronounced joo-lay). With one word, we were able to communicate and connect with the people of Leh.

My wife and I share our travel adventures via our blog here: http://www.idelish.com

We find that each of us have our strength and weaknesses. Having different 'tasks' assigned to each other based on our strengths have helped a lot on our travels. For example, my wife is detail oriented, so she writes the checklist. I am better at taking pictures so I photograph while she writes notes for the blog posts etc... Happy couple travels to everyone!

Great to find you! Just returned from sailing with 3 other couples. Group dynamics worked fine for the most part. Anyone else run into 'situations' when couples travel together? Looking for comments for article to post. Love to credit you too. Thanks.

My husband and I have a travel blog at http://travelfootprints.ca  We were together 24/7 for 15 months while traveling the world, and we're actually still married! Sure we have our moments like any normal couple, but we truly enjoy each others company.
