I think there is a college called Intercontinental University. I'm sure it is fully accredited. We have one in Atlanta, and I was looking to it because I believe they have full programs in different countries depending on the program.

Hi all - can anyone point me in the direction of finding out about undergraduate (university) teaching opportunities overseas? I've found a ton of helpful sites for elementary/secondary, but no compendiums for university opportunities. Starting to think it may have to be a long, slow slog through individual universities... Thanks for any pointers.

We haven't spent much time in Asia yet, but I'm looking forward to getting there, probably end of 2010 and into 2011.

Nice podcast Craig! Blake and I have thought about teaching ESOL as we travel. There are quite a few lucrative countries out there! It's actually still something that we're thinking about. I already mentioned the Department of Defense schools, which would allow us to maintain our teaching certificates in the U.S., but we both have an interest in teaching in Korea as well. (Blake wants to teach in Taiwan rather than Korea...but I think Korea might be better.)

I do lots of ESOL teaching to fund my travels. I talk about whether it works here.

Awesome idea for a group! I decided to become a social studies teacher simply because I have traveled to so many places and it helps me make the lesson come alive for my kids. I had looked into DOD schools and am definitely intrigued by the idea. I would also like to hear from any DOD teachers...
