If anyone is based in Korea (and particularly Seoul) a fantastic volunteer organisation called Mannam is the go-to for volunteering opportunities. June events include:

Elementary School Painting and Guryeong Village (shanty town) home repairs and litter pick-up.

To register for the events visit the facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/mannam.international/

or the official website: http://www.mannamintl.org/index.html

Let's spread our light throughout the world through volunteering!

Hi guys, I have a list of great resources for cheap and free travel on my blog: http://www.escapenormal.com/2011/02/23/top-6-resources-for-cheap-or...

but I'd really like to add more volunteer experiences. Are there any good resources you know of that I've missed? I'm not looking for random one-time opportunities, but for volunteer match-up websites, established non-profits, etc. I would love to volunteer as much as I can, I just don't want it to break the bank! :)

Hi Everyone,

I am collecting reviews of volunteer projects to help determine programs to use in an upcoming book and to harvest for possible quotes. Please consider filling out a review of travel friendly volunteer opportunities you have participated in.
