Linking WordPress.org posts to Google+
Have you found a simple, easy way to link yourself as an "author" of a post to your Google+ Profile so the profile info appears (along with your photo/avatar) next to a link on your WordPress site that turns out in a Google search?
I've tried a plugin and another method suggested by Yoast, but either couldn't get them to work properly, or couldn't figure out how to implemented the suggested method.

I'm afraid there is no 'easy way' so far. This (cumbersome) procedure worked for me...

I did try the e-mail verification method a few days ago and haven't had time to see if it actually worked. If not, I'll take a look at your suggested method.
