Also - I'm getting "failed to write to disk" error when uploading photos. Anyone get this and then fix it?

Anyone using the "all in one event calendar" on wordpress by then_ly.  I tried uploading google calendars to it but it bumped all my events forward by a day.  I had the Quatro de Mayo, that won't work!

It looks like the best calendar plugin, but I'm getting pretty frustrated waiting for them to sort this out.  Any recommendations for other calendar plugins?

From the research I did, the wordpress.org hosting allows for greater flexibility in design, but most importantly access to the wide array of plugins (for site optimization among other things).  

One article I read summed it up as this.  Basically if you ever intend to monetize the site down the road, you might as well build it on .org from the beginning.  It doesn't cost much and you won't have to migrate later.

That explains it. Every time I try to enter code into the text widget & hit save, it immediately deletes it.

Yes, I use .com not .org. Curious: since you’re doing the switch, what other benefits will you be getting from joining .org.

Hey MGPTravelBlog,

Are you running your blog on the free wordpress.com or a wordpress.org hosted site?  I'm pretty sure you can't place ads on a free site.  I've recently been going through the process of switching to a hosted wordpress.org site for that reason, among other things.
