Copyright & Legal Notices: Any blogger or user posting or cross-posting content, including photos and videos, retains full copyright on their original work and is protected by international copyright law. Users requesting reproduction or syndication rights should contact the individual blogger for permission.

Content, photos and videos produced by TBEX administrators may be quoted and used in press or blog coverage without permission, provided a link is affixed, pointing users back to the Travel Blog Exchange. Commercial users should contact us by email for permission to reproduce content.

Terms of Use: TravelBlogExchange.com is a place for those who blog about travel to connect with one another and to connect with members of the media, travel industry professionals, vendors, and advertisers. We strongly encourage members to engage in lively discussions, but always be courteous to the other users. We also encourage users to be active on the site to promote themselves and their work. However, any user who broadcasts messages to other users, or posts only links to their own work without contributing to the community will be privately encouraged by site administrators to change their strategy. Repeat offenders may be blocked at the sole discretion of TBEX site administrators.

Any visitor -- either member or non-member of TBEX -- who uses the TBEX site for purposes of phishing or spamming our members will be reported to authorities immediately. Site administrators will cooperate with authorities to enforce all applicable laws.

PR Professionals & Travel Industry Members: While we welcome PR professionals & Travel Industry members, they must identify themselves as such and always ask before adding a blogger to an email distribution list.. Users who are found to be have miscategorized themselves will be sent a friendly reminder from site administrators. If the profile is not changed to reflect the member's status as being a part of the tourism or public relations industry within three days, an email warning will be sent by administrators of removal. If the profile remains unchanged after three more days, site administrators will block the user from TBEX.

Competition / Knock-offs: Since our launch in late 2008, several "copy cat" websites, communities and events have popped up, imitating the mission and scope of TravelBlogExchange.com and our TBEX events. If site administrators find community member profiles to be actively soliciting our members, we reserve the right to ban those profiles and delete all content deemed by us to be in direct competition. This determination will be made at our sole discretion. If competition sites feel they have programs that are non-competitive and would benefit our members, they should introduce themselves via email, or propose paid advertising.

Privacy: Email addresses collected from TBEX members will not be rented, leased or sold to a third party. IP addresses and cookies are sometimes collected to analyze demographic and traffic statistics. Attendees of our events may occasionally receive event-related emails from sponsors.

Indemnity: Any user who duplicates electronically or in printed form, re-transmits, redistributes or otherwise uses material on this website shall be solely responsible for any violations of copyright, proprietary or other personal right, including libel or slander, or any other personal injury, and hereby agrees to indemnify and hold TravelBlogExchange.com, its members, its parent company Galavanting Productions, LLC, site administrators, moderators and employees harmless from any loss or damage, including attorneys fees, arising out of any claim or proceeding instituted on the grounds that any of the foregoing rights have been violated.

Agreement: Use of this site constitutes agreement to all of the terms above. Terms and conditions may be changed at any time by the site administrators without notice.
