World Cup 2010 is HERE!!! I’m so excited about being in a country that will basically shut down for this. The first match is tomorrow between South Africa and Mexico at 9:30 AM Caracas time. This World Cup means so much to so many. For me, it’s always been an amazing display of nationalism. You say parcha, I say something else
Venezuelans are BIG on natural fruit juice. There is not one restaurant that I have been to that doesn’t offer an assortment of freshly squeezed juices. I’ve been open to trying all kinds and have discovered fruit that I don’t think should be made into juice (e.g. grapes, tamarind) and those that I love.
