- After years of working at jobs that made me miserable, I walked away from corporate life to pursue the only things I’d ever wanted to do: writing, photography, and travel. Thank you very much for your reply and your very kind, encouraging words in reference to my blog post. I am attaching the link to my second blog... "Formative Years" and another link of,- (actually my first attempt at a blog post), titled "Golden Hills of Summer".
I am relatively new at blogging and what started out to be (experimental) documentation of some of my travel experiences through writing and photography, has kind of taken a direction of it's own and somehow became memoirs of the events and circumstances that have facilitated many of my travel experiences.
Ironically all of the advice I have read, warns aspiring bloggers to avoid turning our travel stories in to a "personal diary". (I have a hard time with that).
My hopes are that I can somehow through my writing and photography examine, share, and inspire, and maybe even entertain what I consider "The Heart" of the traveler.
Why do people travel, how people travel, what do they learn when they travel, the friends they make and the relationships they share, the lives they touch and the memories they cherish.
So, again I say thank you for your response and encouragement. Here are the links.

Thanks for chasing and sharing. Hope to follow your blog a bit more closely and maybe learn a thing or two as I am approaching 50 and becoming more and more restless in my dreams and thoughts as well.
I am including the links to my "attempts" at blogging... (Not expecting you to be overly impressed), writing, photograpy, and blogging are crafts that takes time, learning, and passion and I'm trying to find that in myself.
