Bulgaria: Three things to Know

1. The restaurants hidden along every seemingly deserted alley are worth the parking nightmare in downtown Sofia. You can eat inexpensive but high quality Moroccan, Indian, Japanese, Greek, Turkish, Bulgarian, and Armenian food, to name a few. Love pastries? Choose from French and Dutch bakeries, or hit up the dessert counter at one of the ubiquitous supermarkets, where you'll choose from a variety of cakes to rival Budapest's Cafe Gerbaud and Vienna's dozens of coffeehouses. The best part? My…See More

Hi Betsey, I like your blog and adventurous life. The POtash and Potash photo is cute.

I will be redoing the Earth.org blog and looking for intersting travel blog feeds to use. Can I put yours on our list to consider?

I also wonder if you would be interesting in contributing to Earth.org's Bulgaria section by adding your favorite things to to in Sofia, places to eat, etc. And you travel so much that of course you would be free to add that same type of information about other cities.

Let me know what you think.
