Normally people write a list of about 10, but over the years my list has grown and I want to share it with you.



I love:



1. That you can't get a coffee to go in most places. You must stand at the bar or sit at a table and enjoy your coffee. What a novel idea enoying the moment. Could you imagine Starbucks with no paper cups? I might go back.

2. The smell of garlic cooking at 7am while I walk to the Blu Bar for my first caffe of the day.

My first real meal in Italy was at a place called La Vecchia Quercia. It wasn't the first thing my family and I ate in Italy. We had been in the country for 2 days and had experienced some new things such as cornettos and pizza by the slice served from a street cart, but on our second evening we had our first real meal.
