I couldn't get it to work either. Instead I just used the su.pr website to submit my article. It seems to provide the same sort of info that hootsuite does.

Hi Mary! Thanks for the add. I'm going to check out your blog...seems pretty cool. Just from the first few lines of your post of how you ended up in VT, it looks like we have similar life path stories. Keep in touch!

Anyone know how to add text to the post to twitter/facebook option when I put out a new entry? for example, I want the Tweet to read something like "[Part Time Vagabond] Post Title, http://su.pr/whatever."Any ideas how to make that happen with the WP plugin?See More

Hey thanks for the comment. I love Brooklyn. I was born and raised here, so it is all I know as home. Yes it can be dirty, smelly, loud, and sometimes very annoying, but I could not imagine living anywhere else.

Hey Chris! Thanks for the comment! I'm about to link your site on my blog. So you travel through your photography and video production work? Do you sell your pictures anywhere? Do you do much freelance stuff? :-)

How soon is too soon to start attending conferences and events?

I have a 2 month old travel blog that I have been working very hard to establish.  What I am trying to figure out is how soon is too soon to start attending travel events and conferences? Will it be a boost to my blog at this point, or will it be a relative waste of time?  Is it too soon to start networking and making contacts?  What do you think?Have any of you attended any conferences or events, and what was your experience? Thanks so much for your input,Shanna…See More
