I'm going to be staying in the cheapest bed in Vancouver, my cousin's house downtown :)
All of the hostels that I know about are listed on HostelBookers.com. I haven't stayed in any of them, so I don't know how good they are. The originaal Cambie is also a popular pub and a great place to hang out, so you might want to try there.

Hey Christina,
I'm going to TBEX '11 in Vancouver and it'll be my first one too. So, I also won't know anybody--at least not anybody that I've met in the real world. So, if you want to meet up and go check out the conference together drop me a line. It would be nice not to show up totally alone :). I used to live in Vancouver, so I know the city pretty well.
