"Your very welcome Dan. It takes time to set up something like a travel blog, or website. The best thing to do, in my opinion, is to design it the way you like to read a blog or site first. After that you can start to tinker with it!"

Link Exchange & Content Collaboration

One travel blog is good. A group of travel bloggers exchanging links and sharing advice is better.

Hi G and Ray:
Thanks for the welcome! The photo was taken at Karakul Lake, China, near the borders of Pakistan and Afganistan. It's one of the lovliest places in China. After 3 months of polluted, grey skies, it was so nice to see blue and to breathe fresh, albeit cold, air.
The camel is actually two camels; my wife is on one and I'm on the one behind. Maybe that's why it looks a little strange.
Anyway, you get to Karakul from Kashgar on a winding, mountainous road -- treacherous, but newly paved so relatively safe. It's only open in good weather and it closed the day after we went through because of snow and ice.
