Microblogging over on IHEC Blog's Facebook Page

I was slow to adapt to Facebook. About two years ago I opened a personal Facebook account and attempted to open an account for IHEC Blog (http://ihec-djc.blogspot.com/) but could not figure out how to do so. How soon is too soon to start attending conferences and events?
