I'm a traveler w/itchy feet. I write about my recent RTW trip - the planning, the traveling, and the coming home. www.One-Giant-Step.com
Happy researching that trip to Japan! If you will be on a limited budget be sure to plan around the dates of some of the larger festivals and free events if possible. There are many to choose from and a joy to participate in even as a bystander.
Hey there, One Giant Step. I'd like to ask you an idea I had about your trip. Could you email me at email@example.com and I'll shoot you back a quick email. Thanks and appreciated your request to connect?

You guys have two things going for you in my books - you're Canadian and you're going to visit Japan! I was raised in Vancouver and my folks now live on the island while I hang out in Japan for most of each year.
Good luck on your journey and do let me know when you re heading towards Japan so we can try to meet up.
Yes, well I like to keep all my friends close by. This site seems pretty cool, it's very Travel Bloggers Unite! Which, if you're looking for a revolution, then blogging about pastries in a foreign country isn't a bad way to go.

Are there any other traveling couples out there? Can you comment on the ups and downs, tips etc? My partner and I spend a tremendous amount of time together - I wonder how the 24/7 nature of long term travel will be when we leave on our RTW in June.
