Just sent my passport off to a stranger

Yes, I did. Before I can enter the "Forbidden City" or any other destination in China, I have to acquire a visa. I actually considered driving to DC to present myself in person at the embassy, but then I realized I would have to return on another day to pick it up. Free market being what it is these days, you can always find someone to do these kinds of things for you, for a price. I paid $50 plus a $20 shipping fee and put my passport in a shipping envelope and sent it off to one of those…See More
