I'm guessing you'll need some sort of small, light day bag backpack too so you can avoid carrying a big backpack all day long.

It is done! On Thursday Dec. 26th we bought our first one-way leg of our around the world trip. We are shipping out February 7th, 2010 (a little over 5 weeks from now)!!! Our itinerary- one-way from Raleigh Durham International to Miami then onto Buenos Aires Argentina! You really need to get into an outdoor shop and find a pack that fits your body. The store should have some weighted stuff sacks that simulate the weight you're carrying.
