My name is Katherine MacGregor. For the last 10 years I have constantly been saving up for the next adventure and blogging about most destinations I've reached for the last 5. I have lived in China, the USA, Singapore, London and of course, my home New Zealand.
The name of the website came from living in China for a year - wasn't very well thought of when making it up (I created my website after a few Qingdao beers in Beijing) but I think it reflects the fact that I keep finding myself back in Asia again and again.
I currently live in London and see it as my base for now - it's so easy to travel to anywhere from here and it is the cultural centre of the world (in my view!). I haven't travelled much in the past 12 months having spent 6 months in 2008 either travelling or job hunting. I've finally paid that off so can start planning again! Next stop... hopefully somewhere just as amazing as everywhere I've been so far. Really hard to pin down a favourite place as each part of the world is so unique and has something great to offer.
