Welcome Friends, Fellow Passion Seekers and Travel Junkies
Connections are big for me. I have found that since beginning my blog back in 2006, I have been brought to the most AMAZING people in the world through the inter-highway. I have many passions in life. I am planning my big transfer to Florence, Italy this year. This is it! For 6 years now of working on and off here in Chicago and then moving myself to a different part of Florence, I am a British Citizen through my mother who was born in London. In this way I am able to live in the city I fell in love with in 2002. Along the way I have grown to love writing about Florence and anything having to do with Italy. That would make me a Travel writer. I am TEFL trained teacher and I will start my settlement in Florence as an English Teacher. There is much more about me but this is the basics at this moment. I enjoy hearing from everyone, old and new, and would love to collaborate with some of your wonderful people on this fabulous site!

A day of re-entry
Today was a day of re-entry. I reentered the London School to greet my director and other colleagues. I sat in front of my director with a great feeling that this is really the place I belong. Her cheery disposition gave me the confidence and trust that I will soon have lessons to teach in these coming weeks. Since Italians are now all flocking back to the city center from a month along the beach. I then made my way slowly home on my bike, which I decided the other day, her name is Sole. ...Back to Florence
My month at home is over. It was a great time full of family, friends and writing. Thanks to the Gods that created fast speed internet. Unfortunately, I was able to recharge my body and my mind. I was able to push myself to find a schedule to write more. I was writing almost every morning starting around 5:30am. I was able to focus with the HUGE cup of coffee my mom would bring me before ... o ĊӰ&Ӱ& How grand is that?

My Favorte things about Wine
My first sip of Wine was in 2002 when we arrived to study for a semester of exploring and enriching our lives from boring Minnesota to enchanting Florence. Wanted to make an announcement, I have paid off one of my credit cards!!! YIPPPEEEE!!!!

Losing is half the battle
I sat there crying on the field wondering what I could have done better. My other teammates have already started the lonely walk back to the locker room. I notice that I am one of 3 players sitting on the field in unbearable pain and anguish over what a horrible game was just played.
