Welcome Friends, Fellow Passion Seekers and Travel Junkies
Connections are big for me. I have found that since beginning my blog back in 2006, I have been brought to the most AMAZING people in the world through the inter-highway. I have many passions in life. I am planning my big transfer to Florence, Italy this year. This is it! For 6 years now of working on and off here in Chicago and then moving myself to a different part of Florence, I am a British Citizen through my mother who was born in London. In this way I am able to live in the city I fell in love with in 2002. Along the way I have grown to love writing about Florence and anything having to do with Italy. That would make me a Travel writer. I am TEFL trained teacher and I will start my settlement in Florence as an English Teacher. There is much more about me but this is the basics at this moment. I enjoy hearing from everyone, old and new, and would love to collaborate with some of your wonderful people on this fabulous site!

My Favorte things about Wine
My first sip of Wine was in 2002 when we arrived to study for a semester of exploring and enriching our lives from boring Minnesota to enchanting Florence. Less is More
Wanted to make an announcement, I have paid off one of my credit cards!!! YIPPPEEEE!!!!
Since doing that I started looking at my life around me. Thinking how happy I truly am with the clothes I still have and not thinking that I need to purchase more. My closet full of clothes tells me, you have enough, Kate. I decided that I am going to clean out my closet and get rid of all the junk that I have kept throughout my years on this earth. Losing is half the battle
I sat there crying on the field wondering what I could have done better. My other teammates have already started the lonely walk back to the locker room. I notice that I am one of 3 players sitting on the field in unbearable pain and anguish over what a horrible game was just played. I felt so strongly about soccer for many years and today I know how it truly feels to lose.
