Bill and I try to take at least one vacation by ourselves every year. Last year we ended up in Las Vegas twice. We may not travel like most couples: we tend to do our own things during the day, then come together for dinner. This allows us to enjoy some alone time and recharge (we're both introverts) and it allows us to do the things *we* want to do. Bill likes to golf; I like to go to the spa. Bill likes to explore nature; I like to shop. Rather than being stuck doing something we don't like, we have time to do what we love. Then, when we do come together, we have so much to talk about and share. It works for us.
