"You've already got some really good suggestions here. I'll just add one more I haven't seen yet, which is Chambar. It's on the edge of gastown/downtown - right near the Stadium Skytrain Station. Absolutely delicious Belgian…"
"Just wrote up a post on some of the places I checked out in London when I was there last month...all are very centrally located (Soho) and a few are very new so you will be very hip to the trends if you check any…"
Hostels are fun, but who doesn't love a good hotel? Boutique, Eco, Family, Luxury, Fitness whatever type of hotel you like, this is the place for those who enjoy the uniqueness of hotels around the world.
"I would love to say that I avoid late nights and alcohol, but sometimes it's just not possible with business travel. I do try however to get as much sleep as possible, and oftentimes, after a day of meetings, I'll try to postpone dinner so…"

I am a recently repatriated American and these days, I blog mainly about my international travels and restaurants in the great city of Chicago. (I've lived in London for the last 6.5 years so there's also a lot of reminiscing.) I love a good spa, a great hotel bar, and excellent bedding. I also like to talk about frequent flyer miles and getting upgraded. Just returned from a whirlwind tour of Eastern Europe and am off to London shortly after TBEX11!
