- I live in Genoa, Italy and my husband's family have a villa in Portofino. I live in Genoa with my Italian mother in law and I teach English. My husband works on cruise ships (that's how we met). My Blog is about my experiences living in Italy, living with my mother in law, teaching English and being married to an Italian man who is working abroad.
