Many of our clients are located in BC, therefore we are thrilled to have TBEX come to Vancouver this year! I wanted to let all of the food bloggers attending TBEX know about a one-day post-tour that we'll be hosting on June 13th, for those interested in exploring the agri-tourism and 'farm to fork' angle in the Fraser Valley, through the Circle Farm Tours.
If anyone is interested in joining us for the day, please contact me directly at Liz@spectacularink.com.
About the Circle Farm Tour
Juicy berries just minutes off the vine, gourmet ice cream made right at the dairy, garden ripe product, and the highest quality meats - these are a few of the delicious and nutritious farm fresh treats that await you on our day trip through Mighty Fraser Country. Circle farm tours provide easy-to-follow road maps through five different regions of the Fraser Valley (Abbotsford, Agassiz-Harrison Mills, Chilliwack, Langley, Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows), directing you to a variety of specialty farm-gate vendors, open air markets, glorious display gardens, artisans and restaurants. With heritage sites, festivals and wholesome agri-tainment, it's a country fun adventure. www.circlefarmtours.com
Farm to Fork in the Fraser Valley - A one-day press trip on June 13
Getting off the beaten path, we'll take the Scenic 7 Highway all the way up to the communities of Agassiz and Harrison Mills just in time for an early lunch at Limbert Mountain Farms. Other stops in the area could
include a cheese tasting at Farm House Cheeses, or sipping a cup of fresh hand-roasted coffee while visiting the trio of baby goats at The Back Porch. Making our way back to the Greendale neighbourhood in
Chilliwack, we'll enjoy a studio tour of the area, where stoneware, pottery and soaps are made daily. We'll end the day with a dinner at Restaurant 62 in Abbotsford, where Chef Jeff Massey will create a tantalizing "farm to fork" menu, consisting of local, seasonal food, and paired perfectly with Circle Farm wines from vineyards in Langley and Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows.

You have great clients! Horseback riding and ocean fishing, along with spa treatments and wonderful food are my favorite things in the world!
