About This Guy
I spent almost four years living and working in Shenzhen, China, and now live in Jersey City, which is surprisingly not much different. I had a blog for many years but decided to retire it. I have now started a new site: Booze, Food, Travel. I am also the creator, publisher, and editor of Terracotta Typewriter (www.tctype.com), the only literary journal with Chinese characteristics.
I currently teach ESL at a community college. I'm a freelance writer, editor, and proofreader who is always looking for more work. If you're in the NYC area, I'm usually willing to make time to meet new people for coffee or beer.

I was across the river at home. I decided too late to attend and couldn't get a ticket. But I did get to meet one of the attendees. Besides, it was too hot this weekend to do all that walking around the city.
