- Hi Trisha I read your comment on Family Travel. I guess it depends on what you mean by 'exotic'. We are an expatted kiwi family who have lived in some 'exotic' places- although it all seems relative now!- and travel frequently to places we havent been yet. We have lived on the island of Samoa, in the Solomon Islands, Singapore and right now we are living in Cambodia ( and because some people consider it exotic too Id better add NZ as well). We have been to both the Samoas, Tonga, Vanuatu, bits of Aussie, Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Hongkong, Italy (which was pretty exotic for us), Vietnam, Laos, Shanghai and in April we go to Beijing. Our boys are big kids now but even our 20 year old cant resist at least one trip with us. I am totally jealous you made it into Israel we still have Morocco, Syria, Turkey and Israel to do up that way and then theres Spain and the African continent!!...Sometimes it feels like we are running out of time! Its a pity you had to cancel your Asian trip Its a great place to travel esp with kids!
