I didn't even know the Faroe Islands existed until I flew into Copenhagen this past summer and saw an ad for these islands in one of the terminals. Later, over dinner one evening, I asked my Swedish friend about the Faroe Islands and she replied, "Oh, yes, they're quite nice."
