Carpe Diem in Old Nice!

carpe diem card

Seize the Day Evening!  And that’s exactly what I did — at a newly discovered, charming restaurant in the Old Town of Nice, called “Carpe Diem.”  What a find!

The food was delicious; service was professional, courteous, and friendly; decoration warm and charming – it was all positive!  There were 24 seats in the section where I was seated,  with an adjoining room with more seating that can also accommodate events and weddings.

The restaurant…

Cooking with a Michelin-Star Master Chef

I recently signed up to do a group cooking class at a top-rate restaurant in Nice, called l’Univers.  Not having a cooking gene, I figured I could watch and learn something – but NON, this was a hands-on cooking experience! A Free-diving Master Class with Sébastien Murat

**CLICK HERE read this post and others by The French Job team**

I've been asked by anyone to whom I mention my involvement in The French Joband its purpose, "how on earth can someone dive to more than 703 feet below sea level?!" And then I tell them the miraculous way in which Sébastien Murat does just that - by expelling the air from his lungs before descent. I smile as…
