I took these pictures a few months after I arrived in Corozal because I wasn't sure how the Belizean people would feel about having their homes photographed. I'm always senstive to that subject and so I waited until I felt comfortable with the local people's acceptance of my photo taking. I'll add here that by the time I took these photos the Presidential election was near and the government sent cleanup crews to pick up the trash in town and make the town look generally better kept.
