Bears of Anan Alaska
Hey all!
I'm going to kick off my first blog post with by sharing a adventure trip we took this past summer. We traveled to Wrangell, Alaska on Alaska Airlines for a multi-part adventure package with guides Jim & Wilma Leslie at Alaska Waters.
We took off from Wrangell to see the Bears of Anan! AnAn is one of Alaska’s hidden gems, which offers unparalleled bear viewing opportunities extremely unique from any other part of Alaska. Before I go on about this corner of Alaska, check out the video we produced for our podcast!
This is just one adventure we took with Alaska Waters, but there are lots of other guided services in the area. We know Jim and Wilma from a referral, and they lived up to what we'd heard and beyond! Wrangell is base camp to some real Alaska adventures, from here you can really get a full Alaska experience.
As a side: Wrangell is not only accessible via air, but also on the route of the Alaska Marine Highway.

Our media is carried by Libsyn / Wizzard Media, but the public has access to the player. I've used a lot of players, and while I'm personally more of a Vimeo the Wizzard player has it's cool features. Here's where to go get a player: http://tools.wizzard.tv
