The Finger Lakes region of upstate New York is famous for, among other things, its multitude of waterfalls. And the waterfalls become even more amazing, if not appealing, when storms cause floods to roar through the gorges. Tropical Storm Lee last September was the biggest such event in the past year. We will wait and see what nature brings us this year!

Here is Buttermilk Falls in Ithaca during Tropical Storm Lee. See more images from the area at my blog, Finger Lakes, Gorges, and Waterfalls.
