The
Ulster County Development Corporation and
Ulster County Tourism offices will co-host a "Tourism as Economic Development" (working title) conference on May 4, 2010 in Kingston, NY.
One topic will be the influence of bloggers on consumer travel decisions and, how to get positive blog coverage. Topic can be adjusted to speakers specific area of travel expertise.
We are looking for either one speaker to address this issue for 20 minutes with 10 minutes of Q&A or, a panel discussion for 45 minutes. The event is likely to draw 100-200 tourism business professionals from the Hudson Valley region of NY State.
The event acts as a fundraiser for UCDC so, limited funds are available for speaker compensation. However, hotel accommodations and meals will be covered.
